Join the Missouri Humanities and TeachingAmericanHistory.org for a one-day seminar on the interplay between the debate over Missouri statehood, the infamous Dred Scott v. Sandford case, and the long-term causes of the Civil War. This discussion-based program will be led by Dr. Dan Monroe and will consist of three 90-minute sessions, each focused on a set of primary source readings.
