ReadMOre

Missouri’s ReadMOre is a “one book, one community” project. It engages readers, libraries, schools, private book clubs, booksellers and others in focusing their attention on a single compelling piece of literature each year. Readers then have opportunities to attend or host book discussions and participate in creative activities connected to the book, author, or related stories. Discussions and associated programs are hosted across the state by libraries, schools, homes and other organizations.

To accomplish this goal, we focus grant-making on projects that help organizations take steps out of the old ways and into the new. From interactive technologies, media displays, and visitor enhancements to progressive teaching institutes, touring exhibits, and living history festivals, MHC supports the evolution, innovation and educational opportunities that advance our great cultural institutions.
