| STUDENT EXHIBIT OPENING Interns involved in the creation of the student exhibit were instrumental in carrying out the activities for the exhibition opening in October. Students were asked to exercise the public speaking skills they had been taught throughout the summer by talking about their experiences in researching and mounting the exhibit. They explained: "why they had collected the items they did, what the project meant to them, including what the items meant to them and their famil[ies], [and] how they had (or did not have) a better understanding of how history is made." Students were also involved in giving tours of their exhibit. |
