SUCCESS

Black World History MuseumAttendance at these two components of the public programming showed considerable success by the Black World History Museum. The unveiling of the Reverend Nance wax figure/fashion show was attended by 357 people. Even more successful were the numbers of people who came to the museum following the unveiling: for the five to six months following the unveiling, attendance at the museum rose as many came to the museum specifically to see the new exhibit. As the students related in their final report, about 200 people from the Greater Mount Caramel Church came to the museum the weekend after the unveiling specifically to see the full exhibition on the Rev. Nance. The opening of the student exhibition of their family histories was also a success; 420 people attended this event.
