Missouri’s Cultural Leaders, Staff and Community Volunteers are Invited to Humanities Conference

ST. LOUIS, MO – The Missouri Humanities Council invites cultural leaders from all areas of the humanities to explore new, exciting possibilities for their communities at the “Transformations” Museum and Library Conference on March 12 and 13. The conference, to be held at the Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center in Columbia, Mo., is designed specifically for volunteers and staff at Missouri museums, libraries and cultural institutions.

“The ‘Transformations’ conference promises to be an inspiring and educational experience with information, hands-on sessions and innovations that can be easily and affordably implemented in libraries and museums,” Michael Bouman, Missouri Humanities Council Executive Director said. “We design a different program every time so that people in museums and libraries can keep learning and networking.”

Registration for “Transformations” is $75 and includes lunches and refreshments for both March 12 and 13.
