Humanities Symposium

– HUMANITIES & THE FUTURE: DEMOCRACY – 

This event will take place @ Drury University – Panhellenic Bulding @ Summit Ave, Springfield, MO 65802 – CAMPUS MAP, CLICK HERE.

The Missouri Humanities’ second annual symposium will focus on democracy.  Come explore how the humanities help us to understand democracy both locally and globally.  Events will include three panels on the intersections between the humanities and democracy,  as well as a networking lunch, a reading discussion, a public lecture in the evening, and a Saturday workshop for teachers.

The event will take place at Drury University, and is co-hosted by Drury’s Humanities and Ethics Center.

THE CORRELATING FREE TEACHER WORKSHOP TO BE HELD ON MARCH 23RD. SEPARATE REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

No registration is required for Dr. Inazu’s public lecture on March 22nd at 5:30PM.

Registrants for daytime events are FREE to attend all OR specific events as their schedules allow.
