AFRICAN AMERICAN HERITAGE PROGRAMS
2019 introduced a new initiative under Missouri Humanities’ (MH) African American Heritage Program designed to support program partnerships with organizations in St. Louis and Kansas City during Black History Month. After the completion of this pilot period, MH will expand the program in 2020 to support organizations statewide—and throughout the year—who provide programming that align with our mission: “To support partner organizations whose work increases our understanding of the African American experience through public programming in the humanities.”
