Cheryl Tarbox
Fiscal Officer

Cheryl Tarbox joined the staff of the Missouri Humanities Council in September 2006.  As the Fiscal Officer, she handles all aspect of accounting and serves as the Grant Administrator for all grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

She has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and more than twenty-five years experience in the accounting field.   Eleven years of that time has been as the Controller for a large St. Louis non-profit organization.

Cheryl grew up in the St. Louis area (Southwest High School), but traveled extensively for many years.  She returned to St. Louis and is now enthusiastic in promoting Missouri as a great place to live and raise a family.  She has been involved for many years in volunteering with the child-advocate group known as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of St. Louis County.
