
Mary Elizabeth Grimes directs and implements corporate marketing initiatives, including branding and positioning efforts, on behalf of BJC HealthCare. She oversees marketing and communications support for BJC HealthCare's service organizations and is the marketing leader for myHealthFolders, conducting outreach in the business community to encourage use of BJC's electronic personal health record program.
Before joining BJC in 2006, Mary Elizabeth was the development director for Fair Saint Louis, where she coordinated corporate, individual, and foundation fundraising. She previously held a number of sports marketing positions with the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, St. Louis Sports Commission, and U.S. Olympic Festival in St. Louis. Mary Elizabeth started her career in media, first in advertising sales and marketing, and later as a television talk show host and associate producer in Atlanta.
Mary Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree from Spelman College in Atlanta. She has received a variety of community service awards and currently serves as a board member of the Convention and Visitors Commission and the St. Louis Internship Program. She is also a member of the Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge.
Mary Elizabeth is a native St. Louisan and was educated in the St. Louis public schools. She is the proud mother of Danielle Nicole.
