Maness is an attorney who is active in community civic and cultural affairs.
She received an Honors Interdisciplinary A.B. and J.D. from the University
of Missouri-Columbia.She is a member of the Doniphan Chamber of Commerce, the Ripley County Caring Communities Committee and she assisted with the implementation of CASA, a program that serves as advocate for juveniles in the legal system.
Ms. Maness is a member of the Board of the Ripley County Resource Center and the Doniphan Neighborhood Assistance Program. She participated in the MHC charette for the Current River Heritage Museum in 1998 and in the museum's programs connected with the Smithsonian "Barn Again!" exhibit in 1999.
