About Board Membership
Our board numbers 24 Missourians from diverse occupations - civic leaders, business people, historians, teachers, writers, and others. Members serve a maximum of six years.
Each year the board solicits nominations of qualified individuals and elects members to fill vacancies that occur through term limits. Six of the board positions are filled by the Governor. We provide a page of information about board service, and a nomination form, on this web site. The Governor's web page provides a form for self-nomination to one of the appointed positioins on our board.
