American Indian Art Exhibit at Washington University
Professor Carol Diaz-Granados, who is known throughout Missouri as a speaker on American Indian art, has collaborated with Jim Duncan and Carol Epstein to produce an exhibit on American Indian Art and Iconography in connection with a course of the same name. Carol is giving a gallery talk on February 17 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum on the Washington University "Danforth Campus." Stepwise Museum Improvement Program from AASLH

International Recognition for Border War Region Archaeology
We've just learned that Archaeology Magazine, a publication of the Archaeological Institute of America with a national and international distribution, will be featuring an article in its upcoming issue about local archaeologist, Ann M. Raab, and her work on Border War sites in Bates County, Missouri. This issue of Archaeology Magazine (March/April 2010) will hit the stands on February 16, 2010.
